“It’s All Mine” – March 5, 2011
So the deal is final on the Chevy truck I bought! We talked him down from his $2300 asking price to a simple $2000 for it. I’m totally stoked. He didn’t want to take a personal check, which is understandable, so I have to wait until Monday so I can get to the bank to get some cash or some other type of payment.
I bought some cool looking seat covers for it. They are a lighter blue and black with skulls on it. The truck itself is a two-toned truck with a bluish color on the bottom and a cream color on the top. Like I said earlier I am putting a CD player/deck I have in it. I bought the right connector it needed and wired that together with the CD player wiring tonight. So that’s all set to go. When I got off work today I bought some armor all wipes for the interior. I’m gonna clean this baby up and make it look nice. Oh, I need to buy a cable to hook my ipod up as well. I’ll be making some minor improvements to the very, older than me car. Just not sure what I’ll be adding to modernize it. Any suggestions?
So yeah, once again, I’m pretty excited! I will be spending most of Monday cleaning it all out!

…is one tough thing to do when I do not have a goal or something to save up for. Some people say spend it while you are alive because you could die tomorrow. It is not realistic, but true. I really do not have anything materialistic I need (want) to save for. I should be saving as much as I can for my college loans that I will be left with when I graduate. Continue Reading
At 1:00PM today I shook my first boss’ hand as I clocked out for the final time at my first place of employment as a teen. I was originally hired in May of 2008. I have put in four years of work there, and I think it is time to move on. It was not going to be easy for me to work two jobs and go to school, so I am sticking with my new job. It feels great to be moving on and doing something new. I will visit the grocery store every once and awhile when I need some groceries. I definitely will not forget all of the people I have worked with and the experiences I had at the store. All of the laughs that were caused by all of the screwing around will never be forgotten. There are some things I had a tough time working with and that I thought I could fix, but it did not seem like I could make a big enough difference to make the work easier for everyone. It is a small store will tightly knit employees so there was plenty of drama to go around, and that is something I will not miss. There is drama at my new place of employment as well. I think there is a bit in every workplace. Continue Reading
