So let’s face the facts. 2014 was not too great of a year for me. After finding out that criminal justice wasn’t really the path I want to go down for the future, things kind of went down from there. I bounced backwards to my old security job, trying something new with roofing, and ended up falling all the way back to my first place of employment at Kroger. Back where I started. But I think this will provide a new beginning for me.
I’ve made the decision that I will be moving out of my lonely one-bedroom apartment and I will be moving into a house with two other guys. They already have this house and a room is available for me. I’ve met one of these guys, named Alex, when I was with my security job. He was one of the cashiers at the gas stations. With this move, I will be saving over half of what I am paying now as far as living expenses. I will be all moved by the end of January, because that is when my lease is up for my apartment. Yeah, another move during the winter. As long as it doesn’t snow during moving days it should be fine just like last year when I moved into this apartment right after the new year.
I’m going to dub the year 2015 as my best year ever already. I am that motivated to make certain changes in my life to make it the best it can be. I’ll probably come up with some New Years Resolutions I want to stick to. And these would be specific goals. I believe what I need are goals to get me back on track with things. Without goals, days go by and don’t mean a thing. If I am actively working towards something, I will feel more accomplished. So far I am thinking about fitness goals, money saving goals, career goals, and my YouTube video hobby goal. I will probably write another blog on these goals specifically in a couple days.
I’m not going to say I regret this past year, but it definitely wasn’t the best year in my books. I think it’s time to turn it around and kick it into high gear for 2015!
Thanks to my family and friends who support me no matter what.
