A friend I went to high school with just recently told me, “Man, you are out there making it!” I told him I am working full-time and going to school full-time, and that was his response. I’ve thought about what making it means, but I haven’t come to a conclusion. Is making it the course of action that society thinks you should take in order to become successful? Is making it when you are earning a bunch of money and living with high-end cars, appliances, and electronics? But if making it means that I am enjoying my life and doing the things I love, then yeah, I’m making it.
I want to get my school done as quickly as I can, so I can move on to bigger and better things. I’ve learned that it isn’t all about the money for me. It’s about enjoying the things you do.
