Hey, I’m Justin Castleman. Welcome to another installment of The Millionaire Project. If you don’t know what this project is all about or what’s going on, go ahead and check out my introduction video in week 0. Alright, so let’s get down to it this week. I made $110 this week and that was all through donating plasma. I was registered as a new donor and they had a special going on . You earn so much money by being a new donor, I guess, and donating the first three times. So I got a little extra money since I was a new donor, but regularly if you donate twice in a week you will make about $55 dollars every week for donating plasma and you can only donate up to twice in a seven day period. So, I’m looking at $55 per week if I go twice a week, which is what I am trying to do to make that extra money. That’s all the income I had this week. I start my job tomorrow, actually. So hopefully next week or the week after I will be getting that paycheck so I can report more income, obviously, and get more money coming in.
Now, my total spent this week was $93.99. The biggest expense out of this total is fuel for my truck, which gets about 20mpg. It isn’t too bad, but it could be better. It’s a ’91 S-10 Chevrolet. That’s pretty old, but it runs great. Anyway, my biggest expense came to $34.33 in fuel. Another source for my outflow of money is for groceries and food for the week. This week I spent $27.66 on groceries and food. Now, I didn’t spend all of this at once or all of this at the grocery store, which I probably should have, because you get a lot more food if you just go shopping at the grocery store looking for deals. I stopped at a few fast food places, which I probably shouldn’t do. Just buy food at the grocery store from now on to save a lot more money. My next expense was for $18.00 even. This was for a membership at the YMCA. I didn’t get there as much as I wanted to, because it was a little farther away. So that $18.00 is that last payment I will have to make to them. But I did sign up for a different gym membership. I’ll be making that payment here this week, so that will be on next week’s installment of the episode. It’s only $10 per month which is a lot better and this is a lot closer so don’t have to waste as much fuel, or gas, to get there. My last expense, or kind of an investment I guess you’d say, was $14.00. I went around to garage sales and found some things I could possibly make some money on by selling on eBay.
That’s all my expenses this week. Alright, so with that income this week and those expenses: a profit of $16.01, my new total comes to $6709.49. Well, like I said before, tomorrow is my first day on the job and I will be looking forward to having that paycheck. That’s it for this week. During this week, I plan on paying off my smallest loan, which is about $4500 and I will be reporting those numbers to you during next week on week 2 of The Millionaire Project. Stay tuned, subscribe, and I will be making a video every week until I am a millionaire. So, be sure to subscribe and come along for the ride!
