It’s been a good while since I’ve just stated what is on my mind. So forgive me if this post seems a little jumbled and off topic a bunch.
School is beginning soon with one week until classes start. I am a little nervous for my online classes, as I don’t know how the format will work for each class. I am trying to piece together a schedule to keep while I am attending classes. There are some main components I want to make sure to include in this “master schedule”. Time for classes on campus, online classes, homework and reading for all classes, work, and gym time. I want to ride my bicycle as much as possible so I need to factor in travel time for that. As for the gym, I want to be working out at least four days each week. I think I can work that in my schedule somehow. My schedule is going to jump from not knowing what kind of things I will be doing everyday during the summer, to a full-blown schedule that I will have to follow in order to be successful in my classes. I will have to start getting into the mindset of school pretty soon here and actually trying to get my sleeping schedule into a routine.
There is one month left before I can transfer to a different position in the hospital. I am not sure what kind of positions I will qualify for, but like I have stated in a few previous posts, I want to get into security. I will take what I can get, however. I want to get out of housekeeping. It is not my cup of tea. Hopefully I can find something that I can be trained for and that will make a little more money. It’s an adventure that I will have to endure when that time comes along.
My half marathon is in about one month and a half. I haven’t been running lately, but I have been cycling to work almost every day. I think as long as I am giving my legs a proper workout I will be able to conquer this goal. I will have to start running again soon. Before the half, I will plan to run at least eleven or twelve miles to see if I am ready. I want to make sure I prepare for the event correctly. I want to make sure I am eating the right things the night before and stretching properly before the race. My nerves are going to be killing me the days leading up to the race. My goal is to complete the mileage by running the whole way. I have gotten into a rhythm before on some of my longer runs and I am hoping I can do the same the day of the race.
My financial journey is going pretty good so far. I have discovered that this is going to be really, really tough. I have made it through one week so far and I have high hopes that I will be able to continue. There is a program at my place of employment that reimburses students for the classes they take, but I am not sure of all the details. I know that I have to be working there for six months before I can apply for that. If I can get a decent amount of money from them, that would help me out so much. I feel so burdened already by these school loans I have taken upon myself to conquer. I am staying positive and will try the best I can.
I have started a new series on my YouTube channel that I hope will take off and get more viewers. The Castleman Challenge is the title of the series. I’m hoping some viewers will subscribe and keep up to date if the challenges are fun to watch. I would really like to start a vlog on that channel but I really don’t have many interesting things to do as a college student. I thought about trying to do it for one month and see where that goes. That month would probably be October, once everything settles down.
There is so much on my mind right now and if you are still reading, congratulations. This post is now over!
