Wow, 100 posts already? It seems not too long ago I started this blog for myself and any others who want to follow me through life’s adventures. At first I cared about getting views on the blogs and whatnot, but I really learned not to care. This blog is mainly supposed to be for myself. I wasn’t quite sure what kind of post I would write for the 100th posting, but I decided a quick reflection would work nicely. I enjoy looking back and watching how I have grown.
I think I am in that stage of my life where I am figuring myself out and what I am meant to do in this world. I haven’t found my place in society yet, but I am determining who I want to be and how I want to present myself to people. I am determining what is important to me and what I want for my life. I want to revolve myself in the things that I love. There is a quote stated by internet icon, Charles Trippy, that I found very moving: “Do what you love, make yourself happy, and awesome people will gravitate towards you.” I enjoy plenty of things and sometimes I wish that I had someone to share these things with. I have been on a few trips this summer like zip lining and the Color Run, and it would have been so much fun to share these experiences with someone. I’m not going to sweat it too much, because that’s just me. I don’t sweat the small stuff and worrying about the smallest things wastes so much time! I plan to get involved in something on campus this fall. I want to meet a group of people who share my interests and love to have fun.
Over the past couple of years, I have changed quite a bit. I have become a more active person. Being active is very important to me. I have completed my first year of college and looking to continue along that path towards a degree. I have switched jobs and started to make more money. I am planning my future and deciding what is most important. I am embarking on a financial journey to pay off my student loans so I won’t have this overbearing lump of debt on my shoulders after I graduate. Life moves fast but I am determined to stay true to myself and do what I think is right. And whoever sees my great qualities will surely befriend me and enjoy a great friendship with all I have to offer.
