I thought this movie was great! I did not quite know what the plot was going to be like because I had only seen the trailer once or twice before seeing the movie. I thought it was going to be some sort of fourth movie that would play off the last. It seems like this Spider-man movie is another interpretation or different view of how Spider-man came to be. In the last Spider-man series, I liked the original one the best because that is when Peter Parker (Toby Maguire) first became the super hero. I was excited to see how the new actor (Andrew Garfield) took the role as Spider-man.
The new movie had the same basic plot as the original, I.G. Peter gets bitten by a spider to obtain powers, Dr. Osborn turns into the enemy, and Peter Parker has to save the lover, but spelled it out in a different way. I really liked this movie. The graphics were better, especially when they did close up angles on the suit. It had a good balance between the action and slower scenes. It also had a good amount of humor to it.
This could become another “Batman-like” debate when deciding which actor is better playing the role of this super hero. For those of you who have seen the movie, which Spider-man do you think is better? Toby Maguire or Andrew Garfield? For those of you who have not seen the movie yet, go see it! I give it two thumbs up!
