I just got back from my first baseball game this season at Parkview Field. Even though the TinCaps lost, I had a good time with my best friend, Hitesh. I had the night off from work and decided it would be fun to head to a baseball game. Tickets are fairly cheap in Fort Wayne for a minor league game. $5 got us a lawn seat in the outfield, but as soon as the game started we moved to a section with seats. It was a Wednesday night game, so it wasn’t too packed and there were plenty of seats available. Food prices are always ridiculous at sporting events, but we went and got some ice cream anyway. We came to the conclusion that there were more good-looking chicks attending than we expected. Girls like a good baseball game I suppose! After the team was quickly down five to nothing, Hitesh and I decided to walk around the concourse for a while, eyes shifting from the game to the babes, then the babes to the game. You know, back and forth…(you guys out there understand!) It was a pretty fun night overall. They played the song “Call Me Maybe” quite a bit and I had it stuck in my head. I kept singing it and I know Hitesh wanted to punch me. Before heading out we watched the post-game fireworks. And proceeded to yell nonsense things out the truck window while in the parking garage to make noise echo throughout. Good times. Good times.
