It has been awhile since I announced that I was planning on doing the Fort4Fitness Half Marathon. You can read the announcement in the blog called “Call Me Crazy“. I have decided that I will start training this week for the distance I need to run: 13.1 miles. I am going to my best to follow this schedule. It is simple really; running just every other day, biking in between and resting on other days. I feel if I take this schedule day by day I will be able to accomplish the goal. It is weird to think this will take me three months to complete. I will finish this schedule about a month before the race, so I will have to keep up the running for a little while longer until the actual race day. You can achieve anything you want; you just have to picture yourself finishing what you want to accomplish. Time does fly by so I will be crossing the finish line before you know it. Wish me luck!
