When you have weight loss goals or goals to be more healthier, as do I, it is sometimes hard to maintain consistency with those goals. A person may want to be well fit, but it takes hard work and determination to do this. It takes consistent exercise and practice. Everyone hits speed bumps along the way and I think that is what I have done recently. I have not been paying close attention to what I have been eating and I just do not feel the way I want to. Earlier on in the year, I was doing great. Running almost every other day and watching what I ate, including my portions. I lost sight of that for a little while, but now that warmer weather is here, I think I am seeing the motivation come back.
If I plan on running this half-marathon at the end of this summer, I better get my act together here really fast. It is very easy to give up ont things like this and very hard to get going again, so I believe consistency is the key. Even if you can not find enough time through the week to endure a full workout, do something little to keep in the swing of things. That is what I need to keep doing. I want to make a change in my lifestyle, and it is going to be hard work.
