This past week was a pretty busy week for me. I had classes on Monday and Tuesday and had the rest of the week off for “Thanksgiving break” I guess you could call it. My boss at work scheduled me thirty-six hours with only Monday off. I just got done working my sixth day in a row, so I am getting worn down. I have to work one more day tomorrow and then I have three days in a row off! I will definitely use those days to focus on schoolwork.
There are only three more weeks left of the Fall semester in school. Two weeks of classes and one week of finals. All of my finals are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday of the last week. I can get those out of the way and enjoy a long break until the Spring semester. I am sitting well in all of my classes and aiming for all A’s this semester. This “Thanksgiving break” did not help much with keeping my mind on schoolwork. I need to kick it back into gear and finish strong. I have two more papers to write, one being a “final” grade, a math quiz and a math final, and a criminal justice test that counts for the final. So, that being said, I am so close to finishing out this semester. I am very excited to complete this semester successfully; however, I’m going to miss all of my friends that I’ve made in these classes.
I came to the university knowing no one in any of my classes. That changed quickly as I’ve made a few very close friends that I always ate lunch with during a break between classes. I am going to miss these people a bunch. We are definitely going to get together and do lunch often! 🙂
I am very excited for the Spring semester. I will get the chance to start fresh in new classes and make more new friends. I am taking twelve credit hours this Spring, as I did this Fall. I will take the next level in my English course, the next level in my math course, introduction to computers, and introduction to philosophy. The Spring semester was difficult to schedule any of my major classes, criminal justice. They usually do not have a lot of classes open for that subject in the Spring.
As I said before, I plan to kick it back into gear and finish this semester strong! To my fellow college students: There are only a few weeks left! Keep working hard and it will pay off! Good luck to all of you on your upcoming finals!
